Junior youth club set to reopen
A new club for youngsters aged seven to 12 is set to open at the North Mymms Youth and Community Centre. Club 2000 will replace the former Junior Club and will be run on a voluntary basis.
Organisers say the success of the venture depends on the voluntary commitment of parents and other experienced adults, support from the community is essential.
There is also likely to be a Club 2000 opening evening on the March 7 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Publicity has already been circulated to the local primary schools and organisers are anticipating that demand for this new venture will be high.
Attendance will be limited to a ratio of children to adult helpers, so to ensure that there is space for your child at what has in the past been an extremely popular facility.
Those wanting to know more or keen to help are asked to call Sarah or Torron on 01707 880930.
There is still no news on the re-opening of the youth club for teenagers at North Mymms but the county council has recently appointed a new area manager who is responsible for such provision in North Mymms. Any news will be posted on this site.
