PC Jitu Dave

The area has a new community police officer. He is PC Jitendra Dave, also known as Jitu.

Jitendra takes over from PC Elvett Phipps, who has been the community officer for Brookmans Park, Welham Green, and Little Heath since October last year.

The change was announced by Brookmans Park and Little Heath Neighbourhood Watch. The group has called a meeting of all Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators to meet PC Dave and discuss crime in the area.

That meeting, for co-ordinators only, will be held at the Brookmans Park URC on Tuesday 29 November from 8pm to 9.30pm. Also attending will be Police Community Support Officer, Steve Harvey, and Watch Liaison Officer, Christel Anslow.

The Brookmans Park and Little Heath Neighbourhood Watch team is also hoping to organise an open meeting for all residents in the area to discuss local crime. The meeting is likely to be held early in 2006.
