A complete photographic record of all the shops around Brookmans Park's Bradmore Green has now been put online.

The 50-page book of black and white photographs was put together by local photographer Norman Akers following a commission by the North Mymms Local History Society (NMLHS).
Now the NMLHS has given permission for the book, which shows all the shops as they were in the summer of 1994, to be reproduced in full on this site.
Although less than ten years old, the photographic flashback shows some major changes in the village stores over recent years.
The book has been kept in the society's archives ever since and put on display at various meetings and events. Now the NMLHS want the photographs to be enjoyed online worldwide.
This work is being presented in five chapters for ease of download. Chapter One - shops 1-15; Chapter Two - shops 17-41; Chapter Three - shops 42a-57; Chapter Four - shops 75-97; Chapter Five - general views of the village
All images have been heavily compressed to help download.
