Another pictoral history of Brookmans Park is being put online thanks to the North Mymms Local History Society (NMLHS).

The group has given permission for a 50-page book showing pictures of all the shops on Bradmore Green, taken in the summer of 1994, to be reproduced in full on this site.

Although less than ten years old, the photographic flashback shows some major changes in the village stores over recent years.

The collection of photographs was commissioned by the North Mymms Local History Society (NMLHS) and taken by local photographer Norman Akers.

The 50-page book of black and white photographs has been kept in the society's archives ever since and put on display at various meetings and events.

The book is being presented in five chapters on this site for ease of download. Hopefully it will be live within the next few days.

There are now 16 complete books reproduced in full on this site following permission being granted by the NMLHS. A list of all the books can be found in this site's history section.
