Report local issues online Herts has set up an online system for reporting any issue from dog mess to speeding to fly tipping. The list covers many of the issues regularly discussed in this site's Forum.
It has a simple drop-down list of headings which clicks through to another list of detailed issues and then a page where you simple type in the name of the road.
You are then taken to another page where you fill in the details of exactly where the problem is, a page asking for a description and then a page for your personal details. It took just two minutes to report the latest fly tipping down Bradmore Lane.

You can log the faults 24-hours a day but staff only check them from 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 – 16:00 on Fridays.
There is a number where you can report an urgent fault out of hours - 01438 737320 or 01923 471320. This is for issues needing immediate attention (e.g. a pothole, knocked down street light or a fallen tree).
