Are you up for a challenge?
By Julia Guerra

Giant slide
Fun for all the family
Try your luck on our giant assault course at St Mary's School Fayre, Welham Green, on Saturday 12th June (12.00-3.00pm).

Professionally supervised, it will be a suitable challenge for adults and children alike.

Have a smashing time at our break-the-china stall, or be a England football star for the 'Beat the Goalie' and 'Penalty Shoot Out' competitions with prizes to be won.

Puff along on our miniature steam train ride provided by a local enthusiasts society and bounce down our inflatable slide.

There are lots of other attractions to keep the family happy for hours including face painting for the kids and a wine game for adults.

Our county market area has more than a dozen stalls offering toys, books, plants, greeting cards, tombola and a raffle. We also have a number of local charities represented.

After all that activity, relax at the refreshment marquee with a wide-range of drinks, cakes, biscuits, ice-creams, popcorn and candy floss, or try our ever popular barbecue.

Staff, pupils and PTA members have worked hard to make this year’s fayre bigger and better than ever.

All proceeds go towards much needed improvements to outdoor facilities with new wildlife teaching areas and play equipment.

See you there!
