Police hunt for local youth

Police Alert
Hertfordshire police have taken the unusual step of issuing the nickname of a youth they want to question in connection with a local crime.

They’ve called on residents of Brookmans Park to help trace the teenager, who they say is known locally as Jay Jay. The appeal was issued in a recorded crime alert to this site.

The message said that on Saturday 26 June, a white male aged 16 or 17 with blond hair and of chubby build, smashed the window of a parked car on Brookmans Park’s Bradmore Green and ran off in the direction of the station. Police are keen to talk to any local residents who think they can identify the youth.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the local community police officer on 01707-638112 and quote the reference number B2/04/3281.
