Reprint of popular history book now on sale

A special limited edition print run of the late Dorothy Colville’s book ‘North Mymms Parish and People’ is now available.

The North Mymms Local History Society (NMLHS) decided to republish the 128-page book after stocks of the previous version sold out and requests for copies were still being received.

The original was produced more than 30 years ago and has 21 chapters dealing with different aspects of local life over the centuries.

The new version comes as a small paperback book and sells for £5 a copy.

‘North Mymms Parish and People’ is reproduced, in full, on this site.

The NMLHS says it still has copied of its photographic history of the parish available for £4 a copy.

‘North Mymms Pictures from the Past’ is the second print run of the popular collection of more than 100 snaps of local scenes and people, some dating back 130 years.

1st class, UK = £5.40 incl.
2nd class, UK = £5.15 incl.
