New damage to Hawkshead bridge
Bridge damage in detail
Three months after cracks in Hawkshead Lane bridge were repaired, four new large cracks, two on each side, have appeared. The north side of the bridge parapet is also breaking away from the road again and there is damage to the brickwork and traces of paint at both corners of the bridge where traffic turns to cross it. A large crack has appeared top left to bottom right on the north-west side of the bridge. |
The new brickwork has also cracked top left to bottom right on the north-east side of the bridge. |
