Local crime meeting reminder
It’s been arranged by the community PC, Jitu Dave, following concern about crime in the area. The meeting starts at 8pm and is expected to last two hours. There will be refreshments available. The Brookmans Park URC is on the corner of Bluebridge Road and Oaklands Avenue. Local resident and parish councillor, Bob Horrocks, will be writing a report about the meeting and taking photographs for this site. According to PC Dave, the purpose of the meeting is to enable the police and local residents to get to know each other and to "have a constructive discussion about local crime and community policing issues with the emphasis on preventing crime." Following the meeting, forum members are invited to add their comments to the Local crime and community policing thread currently running in this site’s discussion forum. 20 February 2006
