Chancellors reunion 30-year on
A reunion has been planned for all pupils who started at Chancellors school in 1970.
Two former pupils have organized a get together to be held in the school on Friday October 13.
Ann Kemp, formerly Ann Hoare, and Gary Moss are the former pupils behind the scheme.
They have sent a letter out to as many people as they have addresses for but know there are many more who have moved on and lost touch.
In the letter Ann and Gary mention a number of former teachers still at the school.
Mr. Towndrow (remember him?) has been helping us with these arrangements. He still teaches at the school along with Mr. Berry, Mr. Diggines, Mrs. Freeman, Mrs. Jarvis and Mr. Roberts. We shall try to make contact with our other teachers if we can, they write.
And they are keen to have any memorabilia dating back to the school dates of the early 70s.
It would be great if you could find any old photographs to bring on the night and let us know as soon as possible if you have any recent addresses or relevant information about people in our year group.
Thank you to those who have spoken to Ann throughout the last year who have expressed an interest in this reunion and provided useful material, the letter continues.
The letter gives a full list of some of the names of those who made up the intake at Chancellors in 1970.

Click here for a full copy of the letter, which you can print out, fill in and post back to Ann or Gary.
There have been several enquiries to this website from people living in other parts of England and overseas and it is hoped they can be contacted through the Internet. You can also e-mail the organizers if you want to join in.
