Each year Rupert Pyrah publishes a survey of birds seen in a 10 km area around Brookmans Park. The data, which is all published on this site, goes back to 1996. In the past, the number of months a bird was seen during the year was printed below each image. However, in 2003, Rupert introduced a new system where a percentage of the total months 1996-2003 in which each species was seen is given alongside the name of the species.
